Regional Skills Analysis

Intro

Thank you for your willingness to participate in our survey to help evaluate workforce needs and trends in North Carolina. This survey, led by industry leaders in the Research Triangle region and Cape Fear regions, should take 25 minutes or less. This survey follows the 2017 survey initiative (link) and will provide updated data to inform workforce development programming. Your input is critical to the success of this survey.

Please respond based on your professional experience at your current place of employment. We are interested in learning about your perspective based on your workforce knowledge and experience. Your answers will help inform current and future strategy to strengthen the regional workforce pipeline.

The survey is being conducted by RTI International, an independent non-profit research institute. This initiative is funded by the Cape Fear Collective, Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, Wake County Economic Development (a program of the Raleigh Chamber), Capital Area Workforce Development Board, and the City of Raleigh, in cooperation with economic development, industry, and workforce partners across the regions.

All of your responses will be confidential. You and your organization’s name and identifying information will not be shared. For your convenience, you can exit an incomplete survey and return to complete it later. Your participation in the survey is completely voluntary. While we do not anticipate any risk to you in participating in this survey, you can stop it at any point.
