Independent Evaluation of Fundraising Preference Service - Charity Survey

About this survey

This questionnaire is being conducted by Action Planning to capture charities' views on the Fundraising Preference Service, which is operated by the Fundraising Regulator.

About the Fundraising Preference Service and Fundraising Regulator:
The Fundraising Regulator is an independent non-statutory body that regulates all charitable fundraising in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.  They set the standards for fundraising, in order to protect donors and support the vital work of fundraisers.

The Fundraising Preference Service (FPS) offers members of the public the opportunity to stop direct marketing communications from any named charity.

About this questionnaire:
The Fundraising Regulator has commissioned Action Planning to conduct an Independent Evaluation of the FPS.

This questionnaire is for charitable organisations who are registered with the Fundraising Regulator (either small charity registrants with a fundraising expenditure of less than £100,000 or large charities with a fundraising expenditure of over £100,000 that fall under the voluntary levy) and/or have received a request to stop communications to a named individual.

This survey is best answered by someone within your organisation who has responsibility for managing your supporter database.

You can find out more about the Fundraising Regulator, Fundraising Preference Service and the Action Planning Evaluation here.

Your answers will be anonymous.  You will not be asked to give your name or your organisation's name unless you would like to participate in future research.  Organisations participating in this survey will not be named within the report.  The Fundraising Regulator will not be able to identify survey respondents.

The questionnaire should take around 15 minutes to complete and closes at 9am on Monday 23rd March.

You can only take this survey once and cannot save your answers and come back to them.

If you have any questions about the survey, please email us at: admin@actionplanning.co.uk.

We really appreciate your time and contribution, which will be used to help Action Planning make recommendations about the future of the FPS.
