2020 LSCon & Realities360: Mini Presentation Proposals

Welcome to the proposal form!

If you've never presented at an eLearning Guild conference before but have always wanted to, our mini presentation session is a great way for you to try out conference speaking. These sessions are:
  • Just for new speakers
  • Short (only 3 minutes long)
  • On a narrow theme that's easy to build a talk around
The theme is sharing a single tool, app, or online resource that you love and think could help others in their work. We've all got tools or resources that we're surprised to find others don't know much about, so even if something seems commonplace to you, don't forget that there could be people who have never heard of it before and would be excited to.

The proposal form below will guide you not just towards writing a strong proposal, but also sketching out the structure of your talk as well. You can also check out the Mini Presentation topics from the eLearning Guild's Learning Solutions 2019 conference if you're looking for inspiration. As always, if you have any questions or need assistance with writing your proposal, be sure to reach out to Programs@eLearningGuild.com.

This call for proposals closes on Monday, March 2nd, so be sure to get in your idea soon.

NOTE: These sessions are not intended to be promotional, and so proposals should not be on a tool or resource the organization you work for produces or sells.

1. These mini sessions will all be taking place on the last day of the conference: Thursday, April 2nd from 10:00-11:00 am.

Are you available to speak then? *This question is required.
2. Depending on interest, we may also run an additional session that same day from 8:30-9:30 am.

Would you also be available to speak then? *This question is required.
3. You need to be a fully paid conference attendee to do a mini presentation (unfortunately Expo+ attendees are not eligible).

Are you a fully paid conference attendee? *This question is required.
4. These mini session slots are specifically for people who haven't presented a session at an in-person eLearning Guild event before. Does this apply to you?

Note: If you've only presented at a non-Guild event, one of our online events, and/or DemoFest, you are still eligible to apply.
  *This question is required.
