Models of maternal and child health care for African women from refugee backgrounds

Information and Consent Form

This survey aims to learn more about how maternal and child health care is delivered to African women from refugee backgrounds in Sydney. Your responses will assist us in identifying gaps, priorities, and opportunities to improve programs and services to better meet the needs of African refugee communities in NSW.

This survey is being conducted by investigators from the SWSLHD, WSLHD, and the School of Public Health at the University of Technology Sydney.

The survey is confidential- your responses will not be disclosed to anyone besides the UTS project team. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you can withdraw from the study at any time. Two rounds of the survey are planned. At the end of this survey, we will seek your permission to enrol you in a second survey. The follow-up round is meant to review responses from all stakeholders and allow you to reassess (and even modify your earlier response(s)). If you provide consent, we will send you an email one month before the second survey to update you on the progress and the survey date.

This survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. Your opinions and experiences will be much appreciated. If you have any questions, please email Carolyne.Njue@uts.edu.au or Angela.Dawson@uts.edu.au.
