Chefs Wanted for 69 News at Sunrise

69 News at Sunrise is looking for talented, professional chefs interested in volunteering to perform a cooking demonstration during one of our Friday morning newscasts. It's the perfect opportunity to highlight your local restaurant. No national chains, catering companies, conference centers or banquet halls please.

The sunrise newscast runs from 5:00am to 9:00am. We ask that chefs arrive at the TV station between 6:15am-6:30am to prepare. During the morning there will be 4 live cooking segments (7:20am, 7:50am, 8:20am, and 8:50am). The first three segments will include a different recipe each and last three minutes. The fourth segment is a final presentation of the food, including a taste test. The Sunrise anchors will host each cooking segment and keep track of the segment's timing. They will also interview the chefs and help, where they can, with the recipes.

Cooking will take place at WFMZ-TV studios located at 300 East Rock Road, Allentown, PA 18103. WFMZ-TV offers a full, working kitchen set with running water, ovens, stovetops, refrigerator, and plenty of cooking utensils. We ask that our chefs bring their own ingredients.
