Welcome to AMSN’s competency assessment.
The assessment requires you to rate your own competence in your assigned practice setting with task/knowledge statements relevant to practice during the COVID-19 pandemic. It does require that you honestly assess your knowledge, skills and abilities for each statement. Prior to beginning the survey, please select the practice setting you will be working in, and answer each statement based on the practice setting and patient population(s) you will be caring for. Please complete each statement according to the following scale:
0=Cannot perform the task
1=Requires significant guidance to complete task
2=Requires some guidance to complete task
3=Requires no guidance to complete task
This survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Once you have completed the assessment, please print/email your results and share them with your HR personnel, educator or manager, as instructed. The results will help to make informed decisions as it relates to your assignments.
