Needs/Gap Survey

General Information

TJCOG currently brings together staff from across local governments in the region who are working on strategic initiatives/planning and innovation within their organization. The Regional Strategy & Innovation Network’s mission statement is “to assist thought leaders and practitioners who are responsible for developing and executing strategy and innovation initiatives within their organizations by facilitating targeted discussions that explore industry trends and promote the sharing of ideas, resources, and lessons learned.” 

In 2019, the group began plans to launch a Regional Innovation Academy, a collective education and training program, as a mechanism to learn together and solve problems together. The idea is that member government staff with expertise will share knowledge and instructors throughout the region to fill gaps and enhance the region’s employees.
