Virtual Train the Trainer Level 2 Interest Form

The Transportation Learning Center had planned to pilot it's new Train-the-Trainer course that is focused on courseware development and assessment in person this Spring.  Because of our current situation, we have made the choice to migrate this pilot to virtual training.

Each week for six weeks, a group of ten participants and two instructors will meet face-to-face online in class.  Our class schedule is below.

When taught in person, this class is 18 hours long.  As an online class, we will spend a lot less time together in class.  Instead, as a participant, you will be responsible for dedicating 3-5 hours a week to doing independent readings and assignments outside of our class time.  Classroom time will be used mostly for discussion and activities.

Participants are expected to spend some time before each session reviewing content online and completing any assigned tasks in order to be prepared for the discussion the topic.  Participants will also be asked to complete some tasks after each class to apply the newly learned information.

All live classes will be held on Tuesdays from 11:30am-1pm ET

May 12:  Class Orientation - How to Use Moodle and Zoom
May 19: Defining your Training Course
May 26: Designing your Training Course
June 2: Developing Course Materials
June 9: Assessing Learning
June 16: Wrap-up

Since this class will be very interactive, we are limiting class size to ten participants and only one participant per location.  Participants will be placed into the class on a first come first serve basis.

Filling in this form shows that you have interest in attending but does not guarantee you a seat.  We will be in touch within 2 business days to let you know one way or the other if there is still a spot open for you.
