Purpose
The Training Post of the Year Award acknowledges the crucial role GP supervisors, practice managers and all training post staff play in supporting a GP registrar during their training.
GP registrars and NTGPE staff can nominate a training post they believe is deserving of the award.
COVID-19 update
The status of the NTGPE Awards and Fellowship ceremony due to be held on 25 September 2020 is being assessed on an ongoing basis. We will modify our approach as new decisions affecting the ceremony are made and provide updates to award and scholarship recipients as they become available.Eligibility criteria
- must be an accredited NTGPE training post.
- demonstrated outstanding performance in the areas of;
- GP supervisor availability
- overall GP registrar support
- commitment to GP registrar training
- cemonstrate effective teamwork
- demonstrated consistent professional behaviour and commitment to training in Northern Territory and Indigenous health (in all aspects of education and training).
