Public Defender Demographics

Thank you for agreeing to take this quick survey capturing information about the racial demographics of your office. The Black Public Defender Association is hoping to use this information to increase the recruitment, hiring, and retention of Black public defenders, and to increase defender training on race, diversity, and inclusion. This information will also help support an academic study arguing that racially diverse public defenders benefit our client population.
