CARES Act Emergency Funds Form SY20-21

The CARES Act at Relay

The signing of the CARES Act has created an emergency higher education fund allocating direct-to-student payments during the COVID-19 crisis. The priority of disbursing funds is geared toward students directly impacted by the pandemic. The funds may be used toward cost of attendance expenses such as, but not limited to, food, housing, tech, healthcare and childcare.

The intent of this form is to identify members of our community in need of financial support due to the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. Funds will be distributed on the timeline below. Per federal guidelines, students ineligible for federal financial aid, including DACA students, or exclusively enrolled in an online campus may not receive emergency funding. Students who did not receive emergency funding during the spring 2020 will be considered first.

The deadline to complete this form is August 30, 2020.
