Early College FY21 Funding Assurances

Early College FY21 Funding Assurances

The current Early College funding plan for FY21 would provide funding for both K12 and higher education partners. Subject to the approval of the FY21 state budget, every district with at least one Early College Designated high school and every participating higher education institution will receive some funding for Early College programming, calculated based on resources which are likely to be funded through DHE and EOE. According to the most likely funding scenario, every EC district will receive roughly $30,000 for the year. In addition, every participating EC higher education institution will receive $135 per intended credit for the year. Any reductions to assumed funding would be pro-rated into this plan. We will request information on anticipated Fall enrollments in July. Funds will be distributed as they are appropriated by the legislature and in as timely a manner as possible.

Pursuant to this plan, current programs will be asked to sign basic assurances in exchange for funding in FY21. Please complete the following form to provide these assurances, as well as to upload your official Fall 2020 course enrollments.
