Financial Assistance Grant Request

MB Foundation is blessed to provide financial assistance grants to help our pastors start or grow their retirement account OR to provide for an upcoming sabbatical. Grants will be given to licensed pastors who apply online and meet the required criteria. Each pastor is eligible for up to a maximum of $3,000 in grants!

1. I am a credentialed pastor serving in the USMB family. *This question is required.

2. I have chosen a lay leader who has gone to NAEfinancialhealth.org/mbf, created a sign-up/sign-in account and has reviewed the free online training opportunities. *This question is required.

3. PERSONAL FINANCES ONLINE TRAINING: After conferring with my spouse (if applicable), we agree to complete one of the following training opportunities.

Bless Your Finances ($1,000 grant available). This is a condensed version of the six-session course.
Six-Session God Is Your Provider Personal Finances ($3,000 grant available).

4. CHURCH GENEROSITY ONLINE TRAINING: After conferring with my lay leader, we agree to complete one or more of the following training opportunities with our church board (or 3+ leaders).

One-Session Bless Your Pastor ($1,000 grant available). This is to be completed by the church board or 3+ lay leaders. The list of 50 Ways to Bless Your Pastor (or Pastor and Staff) must be shared with church families and the church must collect an appreciation offering.
One-Session Generous Life Devotional ($1,000 grant available). This should be completed by the pastor, 3+ lay leaders or board and the 40-day devotional must be shared with church families.
One-Session Bless Your Church Legacy Bequests ($1,000 grant available). This should be completed by the pastor, 3+ lay leaders or board and the legacy brochure must be shared with church families.
Six-Session Church Generosity ($3,000 grant available). This course must be completed by pastor and 3+ lay leaders or board. The Bless Your Pastor, Generous Life Devotional and Bless Your Church legacy bequests are included in this 6-session course.
