14. We will provide signage to assist multi-unit complex residents understand the waste system. Please indicate which signs you require, how many you need and the preferred size below.

Glass, recycling and rubbish signs are available for collection from the Clifton Hill depot over the two week period. Please read the following information carefully.

Where: Clifton Hill Depot, 168 Roseneath Street Clifton Hill. Enter via the main entrance, not via the Recycling Drop Off centre.

When: Signage can be collected Monday – Friday, between 9am and 2.45pm.

You do not need to let us know when you are coming. Please make sure that you do not come between 3pm and 4pm, as all utes and trucks return to the depot at this time, making it unsafe for visitors.

What: so that we can provide signage to everyone, we will only provide one of each sign type per bin room/area per property.

For example, if you have 3 bin rooms/areas, then we will provide 3 x recycling signs, 3 x glass signs and 3 x rubbish signs.

If you require additional signage, please download and print them from our website.

Our translated signage is only available as a pdf to print yourself. You can find them on our website.

We will also provide a bin sticker for each bin that you have.

Therefore, when you come, please know in advance:
  1.  How many bins of each stream you will need a sticker for (for example, 4 recycling, 2 glass, 3 rubbish).
  2.  How many bin areas you need signage for. We have three sizes available: A1, A3 and A4.

The person processing your collection may not have access to the system at the time - so will not be able to look up these details for you – so it is important that you know this information when you come. We appreciate your understanding and honesty.

We also appreciate that you may have already entered these details in the survey. This was really helpful for us to organise print quantities, but, due to the logistics involved, we can’t use it as an order form.  Again, we appreciate your understanding and patience.

How:
  1. Please come to the front reception.
  2. Use the hand sanitiser provided, and wear a mask.
  3. If there are others waiting in line, please be patient, and maintain social distancing requirements.
  4. If you can bring your own pen, that would be preferable, but we will have pens available.
  5. On the form, note down your name and contact details, the MUD you are representing, and how many of each sign and sticker you are collecting. If you are collecting for more than one MUD, you will need to enter all these details. For property managers that will be collecting signage for multiple MUDs, you may want to write the list before you come, to save time at the depot.
  6. An officer will bring the signage and stickers out to you. You may want to bring a bag for the stickers, so that you have your hands free to carry the signs.
  7. After you have installed the signage and stickers, please send photographic proof to revolution@yarracity.vic.gov.au, with your property address in the message line, as proof that the signage has been installed. Providing educational signage is a condition of your waste management plan, and is mandatory to remain compliant for the continuation of our service.
  8. We recommend cleaning and drying the bin lids prior to affixing the stickers, as this will ensure they stay on for longer.
