Application Instructions

This application consists of three main steps:

Step 1) Complete contact information

Step 2) Provide the following descriptions:

A description of the applicant’s work in the field of human subjects protections
A description of the work of the applicant’s institution and the community it serves
A description of how the applicant will benefit from and use the knowledge and contacts gained at the conference, including how it will aide in the applicant's professional growth
A description of how and when the applicant will disseminate the knowledge gained at the conference
An explanation of how and why funds have been restricted for professional development opportunities

Step 3) Upload the following documents:

A CV/resume
A letter of support from the applicant’s institution

Helpful Tips: Applicants should consider preparing responses and materials prior to filling out their application. Please note that applicants may save their progress and continue filling out the form at a later time by clicking the "save and continue" option on the top, right corner of the screen and by providing their email address. A unique link will be emailed allowing them to continue working on the application.

Following the submission of the application, applicants will receive a confirmation email. Applications must be received by 5:00 PM ET on October 23, 2020. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Decisions will be sent by October 30, 2020.

Selected applicants will receive a full fee waiver to attend all three weeks of the AER20 Virtual Conference (workshops not included).

Note: Anyone who has received a scholarship from PRIM&R for the AER Conference in the past two years are ineligible.
