New Directors' Orientation

Save the Date! New Directors’ Orientation
Adult and Community Learning Services will host a Four-day virtual New Directors’ Orientation. The sessions will be held through the Zoom platform on:

Friday, September 24, 2020
Friday, October 1, 2020
Friday, October 15, 2020
Friday, October 29, 2020

In these session participants will:

Gain an understanding of your role in running an Adult Education program.
Gain an overall awareness of the ESE system, including the ACLS Guidelines and the Indicators of Program Quality
Review of key ACLS/ESE Initiatives: Workforce Development, Workplace Education and ACLS program quality review
Review ACLS Accountability System
Discuss recommended resources and trainings: e.g. SABES
Engage with other new directors

This is recommended for all program leadership employed within the last year and open to anyone interested who is employed in an ESE/ACLS-funded program.
