Introduction

The European Commission has contracted NEPCon, a non-profit organisation working to support more sustainable business practices, to develop a Study on Certification and Verification Schemes in the Forest Sector and for Wood-based Products. The Study was awarded to NEPCon in March 2020 and is scheduled to run for 12 months. You are receiving this survey because you have signed up to the Stakeholder Consultative List for the study.

The Study aims to help Operators, Competent Authorities and other stakeholders in their understanding of potential benefits and any possible shortcomings of certification and verification schemes, with a view to improving the use of forest and wood-based product certification, in particular in the context of the implementation of the EUTR.
