CAWST is designing micro-learning tools to increase WASH knowledge and support the work of humanitarian practitioners. There will be a series of 3-5 minute learning activities, videos, tables and apps that can help you troubleshoot common challenges, serve as a reminder, or provide insights into new topics you may be interested in. We will be building 40 to 50 microlearning tools on 4 to 5 different topics. This survey will help us understand our target audience and what and how you prefer to learn about WASH.
For the purposes of this survey, we are defining e-learning as the use of digital tools, infographics, videos or courses that can be used for learning both on and offline. Online training refers to resources that you need to be connected to the internet to use. Microlearning is defined as 2-5 min training focused on achieving a specific objective. The information gathered in this survey will be used for the sole purpose of developing relevant micro-learning tools and will not be shared with any third-party.
What is your role in the WASH sector?
For the top three topics you’ve selected, please explain the specific content for which you would like learning support. For instance within water treatment you may want materials specifically on membrane filtration.
In addition to these topics, what other WASH Topics would you or your colleagues like to receive more training on? Please be as specific as possible. (Consider the frequently asked questions that you receive from your colleagues).
We plan to produce short videos and learning modules on Water Quality Monitoring. Please select up to 6 topics from the list that you are most interested in learning more about.
