Public Library Training Needs Related to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Topics

About this survey

By participating in this survey, you will help the Library Consulting Team at the Texas State Library and
Archives Commission gather information on the current practices and issues surrounding accessibility,
inclusion, equity, diversity, mental health, and social justice in Texas public libraries. This survey is
designed to assist us in providing training opportunities and resources library staff can use to support
equitable, diverse, and inclusive spaces, services, and programs.

Over the next year, we will develop a variety of learning opportunities around these topics. Please help
us inform our next year of training by completing the following survey. Your input is valued and greatly
appreciated.

This survey has three parts and should take about 10 minutes to complete. The survey closes on Friday,
October 9, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. CDT.
All library staff are invited to take the survey; please share this survey
within your Texas library networks.

If you have questions, please contact Laura Tadena, TSLAC’s Equity and Inclusion Consultant, at
ltadena@tsl.texas.gov.
