Thanks for showing interest in being involved in user research with Focusrite and Novation. During this form we'll ask you a few questions to help us understand a bit about you and how we can contact you.
Why take part?
By taking part in research with Focusrite and Novation, you will have the opportunity to help us ensure that our products are the best they can be for our customers.
How does it work?
Research can take many forms, examples are:
- Short surveys
- Remote video calls e.g. Skype
- In person research at a Focusrite location or other meeting location
The process is simple
- A member of our research team will reach out to you on email to discuss the research opportunity
- We'll arrange a time to speak, meet, or send you any materials
- We'll run the session with you. Simple!
Will I have to travel?
Maybe. Depending on the research, we sometimes like to meet in person, but this often isn't essential, as long as you have a computer with a webcam, an internet connection and a quiet room, then we can make it work.
Do I need any specialized equipment?
Not really. You'll need a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam and internet connection. Mobile phones and tablets often aren't sufficient.
Are there any conditions?
Most research sessions require participants to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to the session. Additionally you may be asked to sign a data collection document for GDPR purposes.
Is it guaranteed that I’ll be selected to take part in research?
By registering you are adding your name to a list of potential research participants. Although only some people are selected to participate, everyone is considered. If you are not selected for any upcoming research there is the possibility that you will be selected in the future.
What do I get out of it?
Depending on the research, we sometimes offer financial compensation or other items to express our thanks, although this is not guaranteed. You'll also have our sincere gratitude and thanks!
