thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback in regards to additional security at the P1 entrance. This survey should only take 2-3 minutes of your time.

1) This survey is only open to Owners of apartments at Emerald City One.
2) This survey will be accessible until Tuesday, October 6, 2020.

Please note that none of the options below account for the construction of a desk space with privacy backdrop, laptop and phone hardware and access, and covering the nearby windows with privacy film. These are a one-time cost (except phone access) expected at approximately $30,000 (or 1% additional increase in maintenance fees during the first year). Phone access is anticipated at $1,400/yearly (0.05% increase in maintenance fees). 


The options are as follows:


(1) No additional security:

Positives:

• no increase in maintenance fees.

Negatives:

• No additional security.

(2) Part-Time:

Option 2.A: 8 hours/day = $85,789.60 or approx. 2.9% increase in maintenance fees.
Option 2.B: 12 hours/day = $128,684.40 or approx. 4.3% increase in maintenance fees.

Positives:

• Additional security for 8-12 hours daily on P1.

Negatives:

• moderate (2.9% or 4.35%) increase in maintenance fees.
• at 2.9%, the increase represents approximately $152.42 - $294.06 per suite, per year (depending on size).
• at 4.3%, the increase represents approximately $226.01 - $436.02 per suite, per year (depending on size).

(2) Full-Time:

Option 3: 24 hours/day = $261,219.84 or approx. 8.7% increase in maintenance fees.

Positives:

• Additional full-time security on P1.

Negatives:

• high (8.7%) increase in maintenance fees.
• at 8.7%, the increase represents approximately $457.27 - $882.18 per suite, per year (depending on size).
