Alumni Admissions Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in serving as a volunteer Alumni Admissions Ambassador with the Iliff School of Theology! To begin, please complete this application.
ILIFF ALUMNI ADMISSIONS VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT 
The success of the Iliff Alumni Admissions Volunteer program depends on a network of volunteers serving in a variety of roles on an as-needed basis. This volunteer agreement has been established to help the Office of Admissions and Enrollment to fulfill its mission to support the goals and priorities of the Iliff School of Theology. Below are the expectations and responsibilities of Alumni Admissions Volunteers.
1. General Overview: 
All Alumni Admissions Volunteers commit to work together in the best interests of the Office of Admissions and Enrollment and not for personal, political, third-party or financial gain. Being an Alumni Admissions Volunteer with the Office of Admissions and Enrollment does not impact the application review of a personal or professional acquaintance.

2. Qualifications 
Graduate of Iliff (Required) 
Not a private educational consultant or agent for current and/or prospective applicants. Effective communicator and enthusiastic about Iliff!

3. Responsibilities 
Learn volunteer expectations as necessary and as guided by the Admissions office and report back to Admissions on conversations with prospective students, unresolved questions, and follow up tasks if any.

Conduct self in a professional, respectful, and considerate manner as an ambassador and graduate of Iliff. Agree to not disseminate inaccurate or misleading information about Iliff, other schools, colleges, organizations, etc. All questions around Iliff’s application process, degree program requirements, and financial aid should be directed to Admissions.  Do not offer or accept any reward or remuneration to influence an admission, scholarship, financial aid, or enrollment decision. 

4. Description of Duties: Volunteers may be asked to participate in a variety of recruitment activities. These activities include but are not limited to: 

Phone calls to prospective students: Prospective students often wish to speak to an Alum about their personal experience at Iliff or about vocational opportunities post-graduation. Admissions will connect these students to Alumni based on a variety of factors: degree program interest, geographical location, faith tradition, etc. There are also times in the recruitment calendar that Admissions needs help calling through lists of targeted prospective students to encourage them to apply to Iliff by a certain date or to invite prospective students to special events.  Alumni Admissions Volunteers are to engage with prospective students about their own appropriate Iliff experiences that highlight Iliff’s strengths as a school and a community committed to social transformation and authentic relationships.

Admissions Events: Admissions events (graduate recruitment fairs, Open Houses, etc. are an opportunity for Alumni Admissions Volunteers to provide testimony/insight into what it means to be an Illifian, sharing both their student and alumni experiences. Volunteers are able to participate on alumni panels, group conversations with current and prospective Iliff students, etc.

5. Confidentiality:

Confidential information is all information that the Office of Admissions and Enrollment considers to be confidential, personally identifying or proprietary information of the office or third-party sources. Confidential information may include, but is not limited to: 
i. Information about name, mailing address, email, phone, degree, date of birth, identification numbers, ethnicity, event registration, and event participation. ii. Information about prospective, admitted, enrolled and continuing students. Confidential information also may include, but is not limited to, unpublished or pre released versions of Office of Admissions and Enrollment or third-party documents, emails and information, internal-use-only or limited-circulation documents and information, and contact information for alumni volunteers. 
Volunteer agrees to not disclose any confidential information, and not appropriate, distribute, photocopy, reproduce, or replicate any confidential information without written consent of the Office of Admissions and Enrollment. 
Volunteer agrees that any list or aggregated confidential information provided is for one-time use only, and only for the intended and approved purpose. Proprietary or confidential information is not to be referenced in or used to construct communications, unless permission is granted from the Office of Admissions and Enrollment. Volunteer agrees to follow all Office of Admissions and Enrollment policies and procedures, state and federal law, to respect the use of confidential data.
Volunteer agrees that the Office of Admissions and Enrollment is the sole determinant of what information will be shared. 
Volunteer understands that, as a volunteer with the Office of Admissions and Enrollment, s/he may be held personally liable for any misuse of confidential information. 
Volunteer understands and agrees to the expectations and responsibilities outlined in this agreement.
