This year's theme is “Regenerating for a Positive Future!”


We are excited to open the nomination process for the 7th annual Four Generations of Leaders in Clean Energy and Sustainability Solutions Awards – THE FOUR GEN AWARDS!  The celebration will be conducted virtually this year.

We are honoring leaders who are helping to regenerate natural systems and economies to create prosperity and resilience through projects, programs, and initiatives that connect with this theme. 

Why this year’s theme? Many studies now point to the necessity for a fundamental and encompassing transformation in how our society conducts its activities. The World Economic Forum report alone identified 15 systemic transitions with annual business opportunities worth $10 trillion that could create 395 million jobs by 2030. Together, these can pave the way towards a human- and nature-positive development which will be resilient to future shocks. Here are examples of the categories for this year’s awards, as a starting point for your thinking!  This is not meant to be an exhaustive list – we are glad to consider other categories which pertain to our theme of “Regenerating for a Positive Future!”

HOW TO MAKE YOUR NOMINATIONS
The 2020 Four Gen Awards “Regenerating for a Positive Future!”

Who to Nominate:  You can nominate individuals – acting on their own, or as part of an organization – who have stepped forward to help regenerate natural systems or economies to create prosperity and resiliency that is having a positive impact on the important environmental challenges we face today as a world.  This can also include individuals who are working on projects, programs, and initiatives with a diverse team that can lead us in this direction. 

Why Four Generations: LE believes in harnessing the talents of all Four Generations – a collaboration across the ages - to advance clean energy and sustainable solutions for the environment, encompassing technology, economic and social innovation. The awards will feature an honoree from each of the four generations, e.g., Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X, and Baby Boomer who exemplifies leadership in the energy and/or sustainability arenas.  We will also recognize an individual for their lifetime achievement.

Sharing Wisdom and Ways:  At the Four Gen Awards celebration, we invite our awardees (one from each of the generations) to share their lessons learned and tips on leadership to our audience.

Important Nomination Details: Please complete the form below to nominate an individual for recognition at our December 4th 4 Gen Awards program. Self nominations are encouraged and welcomed, in addition to nominations of others.

Deadline: Sunday, October 25th, by midnight EST.   Our Nominating Committee will notify awardees of their selection in early November.  

Awardees must be able to attend the event online.  Each awardee will make a 5-7 minute presentation to share their insights and motivate others on becoming a leader.

Awards Celebration Date and Location: Friday, December 4, 2020 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm (held virtually).
