2020 Community Survey

Hello and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with the Alberta Cooperative Grocery’s Board of Directors!

The survey consists of 6 multiple choice and short answer questions, as well as some demographic questions to help us understand the perspective of different parts of our community. It should take about 10 minutes to complete.

Background: At the Co-op’s 2019 annual meeting, the Board unveiled new “Ends” - statements that outline what we envision as the future conditions that will be created through our Co-op's work:

We envision a world in which there is social, economic, food, and environmental justice for everyone. To that end, the Alberta Cooperative Grocery exists so that:

END 1.
Local and cooperative economies are inclusive and thriving.
END 2. Every member of the community has access to food that is nutritious, relevant, and affordable.
END 3. The food system is environmentally sustainable, resilient, and regenerative.
END 4. Our North and Northeast communities are interconnected and equitable.
END 5. Workers are empowered, work is meaningful, and workplaces are just and democratic.

The possible means to achieving these Ends are nearly limitless. The Board is embarking on the development of a new strategic plan to focus the work of the Co-op in service to these Ends. This new strategic plan will provide the Co-op with concrete goals to work towards over the next 2-5 years.

Our ask: Your input will help us better understand what’s important to you looking through the lens of our Ends and how to best bring to life those visions through our strategic plan.

THANK YOU! To thank you for your time, we are raffling off gift cards to the Alberta Co-op!
1 x $100 gift cards
2 x $50 gift cards
5 x $25 gift cards

What happens next?  If you choose to provide it, your email address will be used to notify you if you win, and will not otherwise be connected to your answers. The survey will close on December 1, 2020 and the raffle will take place in early December.
