At Dini Spheris, we believe meaningful engagement with volunteers is critical to the health and success of an organization. This tool was designed to help you assess your nonprofit organization's board and volunteer leadership and illuminate areas that might be poised for continued growth.
The assessment focuses on five specific areas that impact your volunteer leadership’s ability to successfully serve the organization:
• Identifying and Recruiting Board Members;
• Structure and Management;
• Engagement and Board Roles;
• Profile of the Board; and
• Role of the Board in Fundraising.
The survey should take about seven to ten minutes to complete. It will return a score for your nonprofit organization in each of these aforementioned categories and may help identify specific areas where improvements can be made. There is no need to be overly concerned with any one particular question because no single response solely influences the total result.
This is a qualitative assessment and therefore it cannot take into consideration the nuances and uniqueness of your particular institution. It is designed as a guide; to get a sense of how your organization is engaging with volunteer leadership and what areas might allow for continued growth in maximizing their involvement.
