Four employees of SurveyGizmo completed the 2009 Colorado Bike for Multiple Sclerosis (Bike MS) on June 27th and June 28th.
- Christian Vanek – Co-Founder & CTO
- Scott McDaniel – Co-Founder & CEO
- Toi McDaniel – Finance & Account Manager
- Mario Lurig – Sales Engineer
The entire ride included 3000+ cyclists raising money for Multiple Sclerosis research by riding 150 miles over two days (75 miles each day). The Colorado chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society hosted the event.
The SurveyGizmo team raised over $1400 in donations for MS research! The team spent a combined 42 hours on the bike and 56 hours total on the road traveling the 150 miles. The weather was fantastic but very warm as it got later in the day, and the numerous volunteers for BikeMS and rest stops helped the team stay fed and hydrated throughout the ride. SurveyGizmo hopes to return next year with even more riders, raising more money for MS research!
One of the riders, Mario Lurig, wrote a first person account of the ride. Warning: It is over 2900 words long!
