Thank you for your interest in South Dakota Humanities Council grants. To apply for a Mini-Grant
(any award equal to or less than $1,000), please complete the application below.

Before applying, please refer to our Grant Guidelines for complete information about the South Dakota Humanities Council Grants process.
Applicants who wish to have a draft of their proposal reviewed by SDHC staff prior to final submission may do so.

Sponsoring Organization

The Sponsoring Organization is the non-profit organization that administers the financial portion of the
grant. If an award is made, the sponsoring organization needs to provide the South Dakota Humanities
Council with a W9, as checks will be paid to this organization.

Sponsoring Organization

All South Dakota Humanities Council grantees must apply for a DUNS number with the Central Contract Registration, a database for the U.S. Federal Government. To apply, please visit http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform. The website will guide you step-by-step through the registration process. Once you have a DUNS number, you will be asked to renew it annually. Visit the NEH DUNS FAQ if you have questions. This question requires a valid number format.

Authorizing Official

The Authorizing Official is the person with authority to sign the application on behalf of the organization.

Project Director

The Project Director is the person responsible for overall management of the project and serves as
the contact person with the South Dakota Humanities Council and submits final evaluation reports.

Fiscal Agent

The Fiscal Agent is responsible for the grant funds and for preparing and submitting the final financial
report. The Fiscal Agent cannot be the Project Director.
